With the current times\, we want to emphasize the difference between social distancing and physical distancing with social connection. Although we are unable to physically be together\, we are still staying socially connected! \nWith the need for physical distancing\, Family Resource Network Teen Scene is continuing to host virtual Teen Scene events via Zoom. This event is open to any school aged youth! \nHopefully the weather has had a chance to warm up and we are all able to take advantage of some fresh air while still practicing the necessary social distancing measures that are in place. DESCRIPTION:Teen Scene: Drive-By Event\nJuly 27\, 2020 at 5 pm\nWith the need for physical distancing\, Family Resource Network Teen Scene is continuing to host virtual Teen Scene events via Zoom. We are hoping to be able to host a drive-by event at the Family Resource Network; however\, this event is dependent on guidelines provided by New York State. If we are unable to do the drive-by event\, we will host a virtual Teen Scene event on this day. \nWe will be enforcing guidelines to keep staff and participants safe; including but not limited to\, everyone must wear face coverings\, everyone must remain with the group that they registered with\, only one family may be at a station at a time\, physical distancing will be monitored to keep 6 feet distance at all times\, stations will be thoroughly cleaned before and after each use\, hand sanitizer will be provided at each station\, and ALL materials will only be used once. \nWe have broken the event into four 30 minute slots to ensure that we will be able to enforce the guidelines. Participants are able to choose which time slot they are interested in attending while registering. \nRegistration is REQUIRED! DESCRIPTION:Please Join the Family Resource Network for Our Online and Phone Family Support Groups:\n\n\n\nTuesday\, August 11\, 2020 at 6:30 pm\n\nAt Family Resource Network\, we recognize that during these difficult times\, families of individuals with special needs are facing unique challenges and may feel even more isolated While we can’t meet in-person to support one another\, we invite you to join us for online support groups. These will be conducted through Zoom Meetings\, and families may participate online or by phone. We are offering these groups as an opportunity for families to form connections\, support\, and learn from each other.
