DESCRIPTION:Please join the Family Resource Network and Starbridge for an upcoming training:\nAdvocacy Steps \nWednesday\, November 5th\n9:00am-11:00am\nOnline via ZOOM \nAdvocacy is the act of problem-solving with a purpose and a goal.  A parent might engage in advocacy on behalf of their child; people who have a disability may advocate for themselves; a teacher may advocate on behalf of a student; groups of people may join forces in systemic advocacy efforts to change laws or policies. A step-by-step approach can guide us toward the desired outcome\, regardless of the circumstance or scope. Participants will learn how to build a solid foundation of team members. Hands-on activities will reinforce the advocacy steps that lead to successful outcomes. \nOur Presenter: Kara Georgi is the Parent Education Specialist for Starbridge Parent Training and Information Center. DESCRIPTION:Come join the Family Resource Network’s Teen Scene\, Dragon Dates and RCCP Programs for an afternoon at Clark Sports Center! \nSunday\, April 19th\, 2026\n1:00pm-5:00pm \nClark Sports Center\n124 County Highway 52\nCooperstown\, NY \nEnjoy an afternoon at Clark Sports Center with Family Resource Network!  Registrants and their family will have access to many fun activities at the gym including Bowling and Swimming. Any youth ages 5-18 may participate in Kid’s Climb and utilize the Rock Wall during our event as well.  In addition\, everyone will have access to the open gym\, game room\, ping pong tables and racket ball courts!  This event is free for registered Teen Scene\, Dragon Dates and RCCP participants and their family members.
