“IEPs and Transition Plans”
Wednesday, June 5, 2024
9:00-11:00
Online
When a child qualifies for special education services, federal law requires the development of a document called an Individualized Education Program (IEP). The IEP serves as a roadmap for services, including important information about a child’s levels of performance and needs, as well as goals for the child. This becomes very critical in the high school years as schools address transition planning. This workshop will prepare participants to actively participate on the IEP team.
