Teen Scene-Planting Succulents

Teen Scene is a group of youth, ages 12-19, who meet once a month and participate in a variety of activities. Discussion topics can include dealing with bullying, dating, conflict resolution, communication, and leadership. The group also attends community events and participates in community service projects.

Planting Succulents-Our theme for the month is endurance! Succulents are tenacious plants and offer us a positive example by conserving water and flourishing in very difficult circumstances. They act as a reminder that even the toughest situations are not the end of the line. This month we will be decorating pots and selecting a succulent to plant, take home and care for, acting as a symbol of our own strength and endurance!
Dinner is provided so please RSVP by the Friday before the group.
