Support Groups

For families of individuals with OPWDD eligibility. We understand that caring for a child or adult with a developmental disability can be isolating and that being with someone who “gets it” can be healing. We are offering these groups as an opportunity for families to form connections, support each other, and learn from each other.

Meet monthly in 8 locations around the region. Families are welcome to attend meetings in different locations if they are not always able to attend the same meeting.

Meetings are led by FRN staff who will provide information and discuss topics of interest to the group such as local resources, planning for the future, emergency preparedness, etc.
